To clean

After you’ve removed all the crumbs and grime from your car, it’s time to clean the seats.

For leather seats, all you need is a leather cleaner or a mixture of laundry detergent or dishwashing liquid and water.

The instructions differ from product to product, but in general, you will need to gently wipe your seats with a leather cleaner and a soft, clean cloth.

You can use upholstery cleaners and sprays on other seating materials.

Although this step is not necessary, it is a good idea to condition your leather seats after cleaning them.

Lease Fetcher recommends using coconut oil or olive oil to condition the leather.

Test the oil on a small, inconspicuous area first and if successful, apply the oil in small amounts with a dry cloth to the rest of the seats.

For added safety, you can also use a suitable leather conditioner.

Massage it in, leave it on for five to 10 minutes, then wipe off the excess.
