MECCA – The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah revealed that 400 SR would be reserved for each domestic pilgrim as collateral.
The ministry said that this amount will be returned to the account of the designated Hajj service delivery company or establishment in the event that there are no violations or complaints received from pilgrims regarding the services provided to them. were provided during this year’s Hajj, which would begin on July 7.
The Ministry has indicated this in the guide to regulatory procedures for companies and establishments serving national pilgrims.
Income from service companies and Hajj establishments will be distributed electronically, after deducting amounts due to relevant authorities.
The ministry clarified that the money transfer process for businesses and establishments will be as follows: An amount of SR 400 will be reserved as a service guarantee for each pilgrim.
This money will be returned to the accounts of the Hajj service establishment after the Hajj season.
About 75 percent of the money, after a deduction of SR 400, will be transferred to the accounts of businesses and establishments within a maximum period not exceeding 15 Muharram if there are no violations or complaints from pilgrims.
The ministry pointed out that 25% of the amount (after deduction of SR 400) will be transferred to the independent businesses and establishments account when the electronic channel is closed on 7 Dhul Hijjah.
For businesses and institutions that share the same location, 10% of the amount (after deduction of SR400) will be transferred to their account when the e-path is closed, provided that the business has no obligation to the e-path. .
Fifteen percent of the money, after deduction of SR400, will be kept electronically in the accounts of companies and establishments until their accounts are settled with a maximum period of time until the end of Dhul-Hijjah.
In the event that the accounts are not settled and closed, the matter will be referred to the Arbitration Committee of the Coordinating Council for a decision with a maximum period not exceeding 15 Muharram according to the terms of the service sharing contracts signed between them.
